I began my journey in leather crafting over 20 years ago, starting as a simple hobby. It all began when friends from Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) asked if I could create a cover for their "Big Book." I decided to give it a shot, and the response was overwhelming. Soon, demand grew, and what started as a favor turned into a thriving business: Mike’s Leather Book Covers. Based in Eastern Idaho, near Yellowstone National Park, my shop serves as the hub of creativity. Sometimes, I find myself shooing away some of my wife's livestock from the driveway to get to town for supplies.

Inspired by the success of the AA covers, I expanded my offerings to include Bible covers. Recognizing the significance of these sacred texts, I knew they deserved the same level of craftsmanship and care. My belief in the importance of preserving special books like these is unwavering.
